If you are looking for a Historic Independent Sovereign Grace Landmark Baptist Church, we are here for you. Come worship with us through the Exposition of God's Word, Singing of the hymns, Teaching of Doctrine and Fellowship of God's People. Our focus is on God's Word, God's People, and God's Commission. So come join us in the labor of love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as we meet together in worship and instruction.

Our Vision

Our vision is carry out our Lord's Commission to His churches. We seek to sucessfully fulfill all three parts of the commission of Christ:To go with the Gospel and make disciples, to scripturally baptize those the Lord saves, and to teach them to observe all the Lord has commanded. We long to see Joplin, as well as the world filled with the Gospel of our Lord's Free and Sovereign Grace and the Salvation of Sinners!

Who we are

This church, being a group of regenerated, scripturally baptized believers, and as divinely gathered under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ, has assembled together in joint desire and duty. We long, through our assembling as a church, to glorify God through the obedience to His Word and the worship of His person. To which, that includes the execution of the Great Commission by the furtherance of the gospel to every generation in every tribe, language, and nation. We will carry this commission out by the preaching of the gospel for the making of disciples. We will then baptize, by immersion, those disciples as the Lord does save, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. And teach them, in accordance with God’s Word, all the things Christ taught that first divinely gathered assembly. By proclaiming the whole counsel of God, we will then complete the commission and thus be an instrument unto and of the Lord Jesus Christ in which He perpetuates that one true faith, once delivered to the saints, and bring glory to Himself in this church.
